Angel: The Casefiles, Volume One (by Jeff Mariotte, Nancy Holder and Maryelizabeth Hart)

"For a hundred years, I offered an ugly death to everyone I met. And I did it with a song in my heart." ~ Angel

A Gypsy curse put a stop to his rampage, but his doomed love of Buffy the Vampire Slayer drove him from Sunnydale on his own quest for redemption. Fortunately, he's not alone. His support system includes Cordelia Chase, ex-May Queen (just until her inevitable stardom takes effect), Wesley Wyndam-Pryce (Rogue Demon Hunter), and Gunn (Charles Gunn. His name, not his street tag). Their rates are low, and their logo is indecipherable—but they save people, and stuff.

Now, go behind the scenes with your favorite broody vamp for all of the exclusive dirt.

Darling Violetta’s new CD PARLOUR

Opaline Records unveils PARLOUR! The All-New Full-Length Album from Darling Violetta, featuring "A Smaller God", "Star Shoes (Love is Everything)", and "Candy Jones". This eagerly-awaited new album is an 11-track collection which captures the band like never before!

It redefines DV's intensly individualistic music, blending their driving melodic hooks and passionate, dreamy lyrics with their famouse dynamics and emotion. Waves of layered sounds and textures bathe tracks like the lush Abbey Road singalong "Star Shoes (Love is Everything)", the emotive modern-day torch song "Say You Love Me", the radio-ready pop single "Over You" and the propulsive, Kashmir-esque "A Smaller God"; all powerful, atmospheric and altogether extraodinary pieces.

With the visionary new PARLOUR, Darling Violetta has taken a bold step forward. Their 3rd studio recording, and their first full-length album following on the heals of the critically acclaimed The Kill You EP after debuting in 1997 with Bath Water Flowers. ANGEL fans know them best as the creators of the mini-symphonic haunting theme song of their favorite Vampire but PARLOUR is sure to blow the night away and stake a few souls in the listening!

As an added Bonus, this CD will be personally autographed by Darling Violetta!

Third Place:

"LA" CD by David Greenwalt, performed by Christian Kane

"LA" was first featured in Season 2, Episode 18 entitled: "Dead End" ~ Angel and Lindsey (Christian Kane) must grudgingly work together when Cordelia's disturbing vision leads the gang to a grotesque Wolfram & Hart body shop where parts are harvested from live humans.

"LA" was written especially for the episode by ANGEL Executive Producer (writer/director) David Greenwalt, author of both music and lyrics. The song was performed by Christian Kane, who portrays Lindsey McDonald, at Caritas--the demon karaoke bar--in order to foresee his destiny. "LA" was recorded in the studio with Christian and Steve Carlson (guitarist from Chris's own band KANE) for Greenwalt. This one-of-a-kind CD is a collector's item for ANGEL and music fans alike. CoA created the cover art exclusively for the CD and present it in a single-track recording complete with liner notes.
